What is Powerful Women Reign, LLC?

Powerful Women Reign, LLC (known as PoWR) is an online membership website catering to the heart, mind, and soul of Generation X and Baby Boomer professional African American women.

 

Why join PoWR?

From our individual voices, we create a shared vision to conquer our challenges and rise in victory economically, politically, and socially.

 

How do I connect with other PoWR members?

PoWR Zone is our online forum where our members can chat with each other about things going on personally and professionally. It’s a safe space to make new friends and business connections.

 

How do I post information on the forum?

Just like with other social media sites, on PoWR Zone you can:

  1. Post photographs.
  2. Post status updates to let other members know what you are doing, share stories and links to news and ask questions.
  3. Alternatively, you can combine photographs, words, and links for a full multi-media experience.
  4. You can like and share other members’ posts.
  5. Reply to a members’ statuses to begin a conversation.

 

 

My Account

Will I receive a username and password? 

When you complete the membership activation process, you will create a username and a password for yourself.

 

May I share my username and password?

You are the only one licensed to use this username and password; sharing of usernames and passwords is not allowed.

 

What is the bar underneath my password entry for?

The bar is shown to let you know the strength of the password you have selected. You are required to have a medium or strong password to continue with the registration process. A strong password is critical to secure your account, content, and the PoWR site.

 

How can I log on to the website?

Click on the “Log In” button in the upper right corner. Your username and password are whatever you created during the registration process.

 

How do I change my payment information?

Log on to the PoWR website and go to your account page. You will see an update link button. Click on it and update your credit card information.  If your recurring membership is through PayPal Express Checkout or Standard, you will have to log into your PayPal account to make any changes.

 

 

Billing & Payment

What is the cost of membership?

There are different membership levels to suit your needs – monthly and annually.

 

Can I get a discount if I pay for a year up front?

Yes, annual memberships are set up for you to receive 12 months for the price of 10. You will find more information on our annual membership levels here.

 

Can I stop my subscription part way through my billing period?

You can cancel your membership plan at any time. You will have access to the plan until your next billing cycle. For example, if you were to cancel your membership on July 5th and your next billing cycle starts on July 25th. You will have access to your membership until 11:59 pm July 24th.

 

The cancel link is located on your account page if you decide to have a membership in the future you will have to sign up again for the membership level of your choice.

 

How can I obtain a receipt?

Receipts are automatically sent to you once registration is complete. If you do not receive an emailed receipt within two (2) business days, please email membership@pwreign.com or call PoWR at 855-797-3446.

 

How secure are your payments?

We use industry standard 2048-bit secure encryption for transactions – shown by the secure HTTPS padlock in the browser bar. All payments are made through PayPal or Stripe – we do not store your details.

 

What if I have a problem with payment?

These problems are rare, but you may receive a notification from PayPal or Stripe when you fill in the form if there is a problem with verifying your credit card information. The most common verification problem is where there is a mismatch of addresses for the credit card. If you have other problems, please contact us by email or phone, and we will investigate it straightaway.

Our privacy statements and forms have been reviewed by a specialist data protection lawyer and comply with the emerging European standards of GDPR and the ePrivacy initiative.

 

Will you sell my personal details?

No, we do not rent lists, so your personal data is safe with us.

 

How do I opt-out?

To unsubscribe from our e-newsletter or promotional emails, follow the unsubscribe link on the email. For other privacy questions, see our detailed Privacy Policy.

 

How do I report harassment or other inappropriate use of the PoWR member portal?

It is essential that the resources available through the PoWR member portal be used in accordance with the law — but also that members treat each other respectfully and in accordance with PoWR values. Toward this end, PoWR has a Terms of Service and Forum Rules.

 

If you are the subject of inappropriate treatment or believe that something on the PoWR website is illegal or abusive, please use the Contact Us page to let us know, and we will look into the matter immediately.

 

For our in-person events, PoWR has our Safe Space Policy. If you are subject to any inappropriate behavior or witness to any inappropriate behavior at a PoWR event, please bring it to the attention of a PoWR staff person as soon as possible.
